Pawtucket Vs. Rochester (Twins) 7/14/13 (Dwight Evans II)

Sunday morning in Pawtucket is gradually becoming my favorite time to 'graph. This season when I have done Sunday morning however, even if I get there very early, most of the team is in. Yesterday was the exception however, as I beat every single player there.

I believe my first autograph of the day was Will Middlebrooks (give or take a few). I had him sign a jersey. I was a little disappointed that the pen was darker than I anticipated, but it still looks okay. I know next time to go much lighter, because I was going for a more silver look.

I was able to add another big group of people to my team set:

Gary DiSarcina was a bit nicer than last time:

I was able to meet Jonathan Diaz again, who played for the Red Sox last week:

I also got a bunch of guys on non team set cards.

Mitch Maier was nice as always. I actually traded one of my signed cards for someone else's because I had a bunch of one year, and the other guy had none. It's cool when stuff like that works out.

Ryan Dent, who showed up in a cab:

After the game, I was able to get Rubby De La Rosa and Mark Hamilton. Hamilton actually came out as I was getting in the car. I was shocked to get Rubby because he said he would be back, but he isn't the greatest signer so I did not expect him to keep his word. Luckily he did:

I was also greatly pleased to have been able to meet Red Sox Legend, Dwight Evans again. There were a lot more people than last time, but he signed for every single one. I even got a picture with him!

I didn't have anything for Rochester, so I got a number of the good guys on photo paper, and after the game I did a team ball.

Drew Butera:

Local guy, Chris Colabello. His story is really incredible. Much similar to Daniel Nava, he looked like a career Independent ball player, gets picked up by a big league team and is given a chance to work his way through the system, plays in the World Baseball Classic, and makes his big league debut in 2013. I'm really happy for him, and it was nice to meet him again( I met him in New Britain last year).

  1. I've got a couple of cards for Rowland-Smith and Hamilton, and I'd love to have Haeger's sig. Think you might be able to help me out?

Got the contest prize, by the way - thanks much!
