Wow, this was actually my hardest graph in a VERY long time. I found this ironic because I go to a VERY small public university so I knew hardly anyone would try for him.
I left during his last song, and went to where I had seen his 2 Mercedes Benz vans earlier. I waited on the sidewalk, with maybe a total of 6-7 people. (The other 5 or 6 just wanted photos).
I saw him open the door, and I proceeded to walk up to him, making sure I would be the first one. I was maybe 4 feet away from him and his bodyguard yelled,"Back up!" and pushed me back. Wale did grab my album cover though, and signed it for me. I knew I had to get close to have that chance, so I didn't mind the push.
After he signed for me, he rushed to the vehicle and left.

Former American Idol 3rd place finisher/ Country Singer Casey James
After a long hiatus due to baseball ending/school starting, I am back with some IP graphing.
Former American Idol contestant, and current country singer Casey James was playing a show at Mohegan Sun last night, and was scheduled to sign his CD afterwards, and I have heard him a ton on the radio lately, so I figured I would go down and meet him. I got there way too early, so I ended up buying a cheap basketball ticket from a scalper and saw my first WNBA game, which happened to be the first game of the 2012 Playoffs.
I left after the 3rd quarter to get a good spot in line, and I was about 3rd or so. I'm glad I got in line then, because A TON of people ended up showing up. Casey kind of took a while to come out, but was very nice when he did. I got a nice picture with him as well.

Tony LaRussa Book Signing 9/26/12
Baseball legend, and 3x World Series Champion manager Tony LaRussa was in Connecticut yesterday to promote his new book, "One Last Strike". I could not make it to this event because of school, but my friend on the other side of the state who helped me with Kemba, also helped me with this signing.
He said he was one of the first in line, and LaRussa was very nice and signed whatever you had.
I am very, very happy to add this book to my collection, and he even added the inscription.

Once again, this will not be added to my "Total Autographs for 2012".

Kemba Walker 9/15/12
Earlier in the week I had found an ad for a Kemba Walker signing at a car dealership on the other side of the state. It was a solid 2+ hours away from me, so I told a good friend of mine about it who lives close to there, and he really hooked me up. I'm not going to say his name on here, for privacy reasons obviously, but thanks again to him on getting this done.
I had struggled last season to even get a response out of Kemba, and my buddy said that there were only around 20 people at this event! He also said Kemba didn't really seem to be into it, but nonetheless a graph is a graph.
My favorite Kemba memory is from my first ever Uconn game, when he did this:

Pawtucket Vs. Empire State Yankees 9/3/12
Yesterday marked my final baseball game of the 2012 season, but in my opinion I went out on a solid note.
In every single trip the Yankees had made this year, I failed to get both John Maine, and former Red Sox, Manny Delcarmen. I got both on Sunday.
John didn't do it coming in, however I was able to get Manny as he drove in.
Since it is the end of the season, I have been running low on cards, so I got a lot of guys on white sheets, which I will eventually print a photo on.
Darnell McDonald, who also stopped to take a picture with me:
I also did a team sheet for other guys:
That was it for the Yankees.
For the Red Sox:
Rehabber,Scott Atchison:
I also got him on another item, but the picture is not on my computer.
I got Jeremy Hazelbaker on a ball that was very worn, that's why it's in sharpie:
Steven Wright,Alex Hassan, Dan Butler, Ryan Dent, Zack Stewart, Brock Huntzinger,J.C. Linares, Reynaldo Rodriguez

My John Maine successes were inside, where he just started racking for people. I got him on an SI, when he was on the field, then again later in the stands.
Sorry about the football, but used a random photobucket effect to cover my address.
I had been lugging the magazine around for like 4 series now, so I was more than happy to FINALLY get it done.
Other Yankees I got include:
Ryota Igarashi:
Michael O'Connor:
Juan Cedeno:
Darnell McDonald, who also stopped to take a picture with me:

Country Singer Easton Corbin 9/2/12
I was able to hit up a concert for the second weekend in a row on Sunday. This one was only 5 minutes max from where I work, so I went up right after and wasn't disappointed.
Easton ended up doing a signing at the merch booth. I had a few cds, as well as a bunch of pictures. At first he only took a cd, and a photo, but then saw the other items in my hands and actually said,"Ohh let me get those for you, no problem." This was really nice of him, because there was an immense line in back of me.

PawSox Season Ticket Holder Luncheon + Pre Game Vs. Empire State Yankees 9/1/12
Yesterday was Pawtucket's annual STH luncheon, where the manager is always there along with 2 players to take questions from fans. The players this year were much better than in years past. This year Bryce Brentz and Billy Buckner were in attendance.
Brentz was very nice, he signed what you had, and took pictures with fans:

I actually got the third Brentz later on in the day, I would have been more prepared, but they don't announce the players in advance.
I got Billy Buckner on my team sheet as well as on the "giveaway" team set:
Also on the sheet, from top to bottom, are:Brock Huntzinger, Josh Fields,Steven Wright, (Buckner),Dan Butler, and Reynaldo Rodriguez.
The team set cards:
I also got another good prospect/recent call up, Jeremy Hazelbaker yesterday:
And finally, Che-Hsaun Lin:
Every single Yankee was once again miserable and wouldn't sign. Most said,"Inside."
